Stearamide is an excellent anti-block agent that can withstand high processing temperature above 95°C. It can be used in a range of polymers including polyolefins, rubber, and styrenics. Besides film applications, it can also be used to improve cell size distribution in expanded polyethylene foam polymers and as an anti-fog agent in ethylene-vinyl acetate. It is a vegetable based primary amide and is widely approved for use in food contact materials
