Well known for its fast migrating or fast blooming nature, oleamide is an effective slip agent in polyolefins, especially in PE and PP films. It is preferred in applications requiring fast migration of slip agent to the surface. It is a primary amide produced from a vegetable-based raw material and is widely approved for use in food contact materials.
